Join Us in Making a Difference for Community Cats!
๐ Opportunities Available:
๐ฑ Cat Caregiver (Sanctuary):
Help with daily feeding, cleaning, brushing, and socializing cats.
๐ Transport Volunteer:
Drive cats to and from vet appointments, adoption events, or foster homes.
๐ฃ Event Assistant:
Help with adoption events, fundraising booths, or community outreach.
๐ Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Support:
Help set humane traps, transport to spay/neuter clinics, and return cats safely to their colonies.
โ Volunteer Requirements:
•Must be 16 years or older (volunteers under 18 may need a parent/guardian’s consent)
• Be reliable, compassionate, and comfortable around cats
• Able to commit to a minimum of 1 day a month
•Volunteers must be able to lift 20 lbs and have reliable transportation

๐พ Kittens
Bottle babies, weaned kittens, or litters too young for adoption.
๐พ Medical Fosters
Cats recovering from surgery, illness, or injury who need quiet rest and monitoring.
๐พ Socialization Fosters
Shy or undersocialized cats that need love, patience, and a calm environment to build trust.
๐พ Hospice or Senior Fosters
Older or terminally ill cats who need comfort and dignity in their final months.
๐พ Short-Term Emergency Fosters
Provide temporary shelter for cats in urgent need—often just a few days to a few weeks.
โ Foster Requirements
• Must be 18 years or older
• Complete a Foster Application & Orientation
• Have a safe, indoor space to house foster cats
• Ability to isolate fosters from other pets (especially for kittens or medical cases)
• Willingness to transport cats to vet appointments or adoption events
• Commit to daily care: feeding, cleaning, monitoring health, and providing love
• Follow SCFN’s foster care guidelines and keep in touch with the foster coordinator
